Description of the Program

鈥淪ilver鈥 and 鈥淕old鈥 recognition for student organizations is a way for The Office of Student Engagement to acknowledge and reward the outstanding achievements of exemplary student organizations. Organizations recognized as 鈥淪ilver鈥 or 鈥淕old鈥 have gone above and beyond the normal requirements of a student organization and demonstrated a commitment to their organization and contributing to student life at 九秀直播.

All current student organizations, in good standing, are considered to be 鈥淏lue鈥 organizations. Applications for 鈥淪ilver鈥 and 鈥淕old鈥 organizations are emailed to student organization presidents at the end of October and March during the fall and spring semesters respectfully. Once an organization earns 鈥淪ilver鈥 or 鈥淕old鈥 status, they maintain that status for one calendar year. Budgets for 鈥淕old鈥 organizations will be awarded following an application process at the conclusion of the spring semester for the following academic year only. No budgets will be awarded during the fall semester. Organizations will be notified in a timely manner of any status earned or budget awarded following the submission of the appropriate application. Organizations may re-apply or apply for a higher status each semester. Final discretion regarding recognition status and budgets belongs to The Office of Student Engagement.
