Permission Petitions:

Students may encounter a time where they will be asked to receive an approval for a particular situation by submitting a petition. Some common petitions are: request a substitution of courses, permission to repeat a course, a special request of the Core Committee, an extension of time to complete coursework, or to request a major course substitution.

The petition request form is located on the Student profile page. Click on the Ellucian waffle icon in the upper left corner. Choose Undergrad Academic petition form from the dropdown menu and the specific reason you want to petition for. If you choose “other”, please indicate what specifically you need approval on.
