Note: Business courses taken at ACU will normally not transfer back to ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥. Business majors who wish to study at ACU will need to take courses which meet core requirements.

Financial Aid

Students participating on this program are eligible to take all financial aid with the exception of work-study to Australian Catholic University. This includes scholarships, federal, and state aid. Students on employee benefits packages are not eligible for these benefits on this program.

Additional scholarships from external sources may be available for study in Australia.

Program Costs 

Billed by JCU:

  • Tuition: JCU Tuition including Federal, State, and JCU aid
  • Administrative Fee $5,000

Estimated indirect costs (not billed by JCU)

  • Books & Supplies $550
  • Personal Expenses $6,000
  • Transportation $3,000
  • Room $3,000 – 8,000
  • Board $1,600
  • Homestay w/ meals $5,700
  • Visa $1080
  • Insurance (OSHC) $250
  • Total indirect costs: $ 15,480- $20,480

Room and Board are the responsibility of the student. ACU will invoice students directly for room and board charges. In some cases students can choose to be placed with host families in Australia.

The deadline for applications to study abroad for Fall Semester is March 1, and for Spring Semester is September 1.
