Study Abroad for GSW Students

As part of the goal of students examining gender from multiple perspectives and in a global context, the Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies Program strongly encourages students to take part in study abroad experiences. It may also be possible to use this to fulfill the “Group 3 Global/Diverse” major/minor requirement. ֱ offers study abroad opportunities for an entire semester, three-week courses, and and shorter immersion trips. Please talk to the program director about what type of experience might be right for you!

Past Study Abroad Experiences

Travel to Paris & Italy – Spring Break 2018

Consider taking IC 299: Gazing Women from Paris to Florence during Spring 2018 to learn more about gender while traveling to Paris, Tuscany, and Rome while earning three credit hours. All are invited to the informational meeting next Wednesday, September 20, 2017, from 2–3 p.m. in the O’Malley Center, Room 103. We will discuss the course requirements, travel itinerary, and answer any questions you may have.
