Anticipated Program Learning Outcomes

Political science students will:

Demonstrate knowledge of the major fields of political science: American politics, comparative politics, international relations, political theory, and research methods;
Demonstrate academic and intellectual skills: critical analysis, academic writing, and oral communication;
Be engaged in and aware of local, national, and global politics; and
Be prepared, according to interest, for graduate programs and/or careers related to political science (e.g. public policy, law, political journalism, international service).
